The punch brand is named after a famous European puppet show called, Mr. Punch. Founded by a German man named Stockmann in 1840, the brand focused more on targeting the British. Since the brand launched, it has had many changes of ownership. After the stock market crash in 1992, the brand was bought by Palicio y Cia. In 1969, Punch cigars were being produced in Honduras by Frank Llaneza. The brand has still been a favorite among the British and is still well-known today. Much like the name of the brand, the cigar does pack a punch. With spicy notes, the cigar has a smooth tasting aroma that carries right through.
