Description
Dona Flor is Brazil’s best-known premium cigar house, based in the Recôncavo region of Bahia, and Mata Fina is the leaf that region is famous for — thick, dark and unmistakably different from anything grown in Nicaragua or the Dominican Republic.
The Pirâmide’s tapered head concentrates the smoke and brings out the leaf’s character: dark earth, cocoa and a sweet-sour note in the background that is peculiar to Brazilian tobacco. There is spice through the middle and a long, dry finish.
Medium to full-bodied. If you have only ever smoked Cuban and Nicaraguan cigars, this is worth trying purely for how different it tastes.
Sold as a single cigar.
