A robusto with the ring gauge pushed up, which changes the balance of the blend: more filler relative to wrapper, so the smoke is earthier and rounder than a standard robusto of the same leaf.

El Pulpo’s core profile comes through clearly — damp earth and leather at the start, black pepper building through the middle third, and a cedar sweetness that keeps it from getting heavy.

The wide gauge burns slowly and coolly. Medium to full-bodied, and the most approachable size in the El Pulpo range.
