Description
The Aniversario line is where Viva La Vida puts its higher-priming leaf, and the Jester is the most characterful cigar in it — the name refers to the band artwork, and the blend has a similar sense of humour about it.
It opens sweet, almost fruity, with raisin and cocoa. By the halfway point, that has turned into dark chocolate and baking spice, with a woody backbone holding it together, and the final third adds pepper and a long, dry finish.
Full-bodied, well-constructed, and a good example of what the smaller New World houses are producing at this price.
Sold as a single cigar.
